The good old cardi, it’s like a hug isn’t it?
I love them, which may in part stem from Mother and Grandmother shrilling ‘Have you got a cardigan?’ every time I left the house, even in the January 40 degree weather of good old Perth town where what you need is frozen margaritas on tap not a damn cardigan. The Pollack hates them, which may be because I’ve been sporting hand me downs from said Mother and Grandmother of late. I wear them anyway (well at least at home, where no one can see me) but I’m thinking it may be a good time to start thinking about sexing up the good old cardi collection.
I personally think these things are essentials. They are layering, warming goodness. Now that I reside on the other side of the Nullarbor in Sydney town, where the weather can be somewhat unpredictable, that shrilling echo I hear when I leave our apartment doesn’t seem so irrelevant anymore (and spring is coming which makes them all the more necessary).
Here are my picks (which are all available online, my favorite form of shopping because I can do it in Grandmother’s old cardi):
Gritty, in a good way, throw over everything
Pretty and girly, calls for boyfriend jeans and heels
Daydreaming of those sunny days on the campus lawn…
Skirt and flats
Because S & N is awesome you can click on the pics and purchase, your PayPal and credit card might not like me so much though (and as always check postage because we’ve all been caught out on that one before)…
